Part Time & Evening Courses
New Courses for 2010 - 2011 - Apply NOW!
Many adults enjoy learning a new skill in their spare time. Others would like to gain a qualification to help them further their career. Evening and part time courses at Bexhill College offer the opportunity to do both.
The programme offers professional qualifications such as NVQs in Health and Social Care, Supporting Teaching and Learning or Children’s Care, Learning and Development and GCSEs, as well as a wide range of recreational courses which range from Reiki to painting, astronomy to cooking, IT to alternative therapies. We hope there is something to interest everyone.
All adults are encouraged to achieve qualifications to at least level 3 if they haven't done so already. Some may need to achieve that elusive pass in GCSE English or Maths; others may need support in basic skills and ESOL to improve employment prospects. Some adults would like to gain ‘A’ levels or BTEC National Diplomas and there is the opportunity to study alongside our daytime students if this is your goal. There are fee concessions for some qualification-based courses.
If you just want to learn or develop new skills for fun, our recreational courses offer the opportunity to do this and make new friends.
Most courses are held at the main College site in Penland Road where there is plenty of onsite parking, and some are offered at the Adult Learning Centre, Jameson Mews, near Bexhill Station.
For further information contact Judith Hattam at Jameson Mews on 01424 215746 ext 208.
We hope there will be something to interest you in September 2010.
