SELL OUT Hairspray Performance

Bexhill College Students from across the curriculum board took part in an outstanding performance of the lively musical Hairspray at Bexhill High School. The students gave four performances to enthusiastic audiences on Good Friday and Easter Saturday.

The students gave performances of a very high standard which came from working hard in rehearsals since September.

The show was a great opportunity for Students throughout the College to come together and showcase their talents. Students studying everything from Chemistry and Geography to budding Photography students all played their part in putting on the show as well as Clive Hanmore a student from the Glyne Gap faculty. The excellent performances were enhanced by the colourful set and costumes.

The show was supported by a full band located in a side studio where they performed live renditions of each of the musicals songs under the watchful eye of Conductor, Simon Pickering. Simon is currently conducting ‘We Will Rock You’ in London’s West End.

The feedback from the audiences was incredible and the College would like to thank all those who wrote heart warming letters of congratulations to the staff and students who put the show together.
