If you haven't managed to achieve your grade C you will re-sit your English Language GCSE. This one-year course prepares students for the GCSE examination that will take place in June 2018. GCSE English is a crucial qualification needed for a very wide range of jobs and more advanced courses.
You will study a wide range of texts from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, including literature and literacy non-fiction as well as other writing such as reviews and journalism.
Paper 1: Explorations in Creative Reading and Writing
Paper 2: Writers' Viewpoints and Perspectives
Non-examination Assessment: Spoken Language

Commencing: Monday 18th September 2017
Duration: 1 Year
Time: 6.30pm - 9.00pm
Fee: £390 or FREE if you do not have a GCSE grade C/4 or above in English Language.
