Bexhill College Basketball Academy played Buckswood School in their first match of 2018 on Wednesday.

The team's overall performance was excellent, with seven first year students making their College debuts for the Academy.

Joshua Bulman captained for the first time after being part of the academy for two years and led the side brilliantly, finishing as the top point scorer.

Women's Academy Captain, Nicole Calland, made her debut for the men's side, cementing a position in the starting five. In the first quarter, she hit every basket with a 100% completion rate, scoring 6 points.

Following some outstanding play, the game ended 79-23 to Bexhill College.

On Thursday 22nd February, the College Academy face up against Claremont School and the South East Tigers as preparation for matches against AoC rivals Worthing and BHASVIC.
