Alexia Wins East Sussex Politics Awards

Our first year A Level Politics students recently entered the East Sussex EIP Politics Essay competition. This required them to submit a 2000-word essay on the topic of their choice. These entries were then judged against essays produced by students studying at other institutions across East Sussex. Bexhill 6th Form College’s Alexia Rodway won this regional competition. She produced an intellectual and mature entry based on the title, “Evaluate the extent to which an elected leader can manipulate democracy to develop a dictatorship.”

The competition was judged by Councillor Michael Ensor, former Chairman of East Sussex County Council, who can be seen in the photograph along with Alexia.
