Jaisen Wins East Sussex Economics Awards

Our first year A Level Economics students recently entered the East Sussex EIP Economics Essay competition. This required them to submit a 1500-word essay on one of four topics provided by the Royal Economic Society . These entries were then judged against essays produced by students studying at other institutions across East Sussex. Bexhill 6th Form College’s Jaisen Jaise won this regional competition with an entry based on the title, “What explains the UK’s productivity puzzle?”. In the words of the external judge, Jaisen produced “an interesting and impressive essay on a very difficult topic, which was well researched with good use of supporting data.”
