Table Tennis Star Ends College Career on a High

Since his success at the AoC Sport National Championships in April, Table Tennis star, Josh Bennett, has won double gold. After preparing at College, Josh won the team and singles event at the International School U19s Finals in Worcester this weekend. Representing England and Bexhill College, Josh faced opposition from all over the United Kingdom, Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey.

Since being at college Josh has won two AoC Sport Regional Championships and has attended two AoC Sport National Championships where he competed as part of the South East team. Josh captained the South East England Nationalís Team this year, who won two years in a row.

Josh has also won the Area School Games two years running and was part of the Bexhill College boysí team that won the Sussex Schools championships.

Josh currently competes in the Belgium league and has been training at Bexhill College with Coach Craig Bryant (Commonwealth TT medal winner) to compliment his training outside of college.

Sadly this was his last contribution for the College before he sets off to University in September. Thank you for representing us Josh and good luck with the future!
