Entrepreneurship through Digital Marketing

Our first year Economics and Business A-Level students had the opportunity to gain an insight into the world of digital marketing, by attending a presentation given by Mark Baldwin of Talkativeonline; a digital marketing agency specialising in social media training and campaign planning.

Mark demonstrated to the students how they could use a variety of online strategies, such as blogging, creating email databases, using consumer review sites and using online crowdfunding platforms to increase their chances of succeeding with their entrepreneurial ideas.

With a significant amount of business transactions and economic activity now being conducted online, our students gained a real advantage through benefitting from Mark’s expertise. He concluded his presentation by offering the students the possibility of securing an apprenticeship at Talkativeonline.
