Bexhill College 78 - 72 Worthing College

Bexhill College's Basketball Academy continued their unbeaten run with a thrilling match against Worthing College on Wednesday.

Bexhill took an early lead in the first quarter but ended up trailing behind by seven at half time. At the end of the third quarter, Bexhill were down by eleven and knew it would take something special to win the match. During the last quarter, Bexhill stepped it up by putting on an outstanding performance with a solid defence, gaining twenty eight points leading to a win.

Kamara had an excellent final quarter, with his defensive rebounds saving valuable points and strong on offence. Calland (Women's Captain) continued her fine form by keeping it simple, limiting turn overs and picking up vital points. Bulman, Williams and Child were also solid on offence, picking up most points and assists. Another superb team performance from the Basketball Academy.
