Improving fitness and feeling healthier are common goals in the new year but it can be difficult to find the right time and the money to spend on health programmes. Bexhill College are running different exercise classes every day for anyone over the age of 16 with a simple pay-as-you-go scheme that has no commitments.
During January the College are offering discounts with each class costing only £4, which can be paid on the day at their Sports Centre. Unlimited classes for one week will cost £10 or it’s £25 for unlimited classes for the whole month of February.
Principal, Karen Hucker, said: “With the help of professional fitness instructors we’re encouraging the community to make the most of our facilities so they can improve their fitness and enjoy these classes at an affordable price.”
With a choice of classes available on weeknights and weekends people can choose any session that suits them. The classes include spinning, boxfit, circuit training, and starting this month are Pilates, aerobics and yoga.
For boxfit you can expect a cardiovascular workout merged with boxing combinations to create a fitness and toning-based class. Spinning is a studio-based cycling class to music that is open to all levels. For more low-impact exercises, Pilates involves stretches designed to strengthen muscles and improve core stability.
The only items advised to bring are a towel and a water bottle (there are water fountains on site). All classes are beginner friendly and are open to anyone over the age of 16. To book a class or for more information please email email@example.com or call 01424 214545 ext 1112.
