Bexhill College Skills For Life Courses

The Skills for Life qualifications are specifically designed and delivered for adult learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Depending on the subject and the student, courses are delivered between Entry 1 and Entry 3. Skills for Life courses take place at the main Bexhill College site on Penland Road.

Skills for Life Curriculum 2018:

  • Living Skills – students will undertake gardening activities at our main site and Sidley allotments, completing a portfolio for assessment.
  • Personal and Social Development – students will cover units including; being healthy health and fitness and developing communication skills.
  • Practical Skills (Craft) – students will complete a variety of practical activities and complete a portfolio for assessment.
  • Music and Dance – students will cover units including; exploring music, exploring performance and exploring dance.

Other courses also available to study are: English Skills, Maths Skills & Employability.

Classes run 10:00 to 14:30, with the exception of Maths and English which are ½ day classes.

Enrolment will be 17th September to 28th September at our new premises on Penland Road.

Classes will commence Monday 8th October 2018.
