Why Should You Take This Course?

The T Level in Health will provide learners with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to progress into skilled employment or higher-level technical training or study in the Health and Science sector.

Course content You will complete 415 hours of work placement in a variety of health care settings. The core content for the T Levels will cover the following areas:

• Working within the Health and Science sector
• Health and Safety and Environmental regulations in the Health and Science sector
• Managing information and data within the Health and Science sector
• Providing person centred care
• Infection Prevention and Control in Health Settings
• Good Scientific and Clinical Practice
• Core Science concepts

How will I be assessed?
The core component will be assessed through 2 written examinations and through a practical employer-set project. In addition to this, Maths, English, and general digital skills will be integrated within the qualification in occupationally relevant contexts. The occupational specialism will be assessed with a case study assessment, 2 practical assessments, and a professional discussion.

Are there any special expenses?
Travel expenses to work placement, a DBS check, and uniform for work placement.
