Course content
Unit 1: Philosophy of Religion: An exploration of the nature of knowledge, the existence of the universe and whether God’s existence can be established. Topics include:
Unit 2: Religion & Ethics: Can we establish a standard of ‘good’? What is the correct moral action regarding contemporary issues such as Euthanasia? Topics include:
Unit 3: Developments in Christian Thought: What are the core teachings of Christianity? Are Christian values and ideals compatible with an increasingly secular society? Topics include:
How will I be assessed? Assessment is by written examination. Are there any special expenses? There may be trips that will enrich the curriculum that may incur addition costs.
