At least 4-5 GCSEs graded 9-4 including English or Maths at grade 4 or above. Students must have an interest in the fashion industry and be creative. Grade 4 or above in an Art-based subject is recommended.
Why Should You Take This Course?
This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in Fashion Industry and Textiles. This qualification is equivalent to one A Level and can therefore be done as a part of an A Level programme and gives you the knowledge, understanding and skills that you need to prepare for employment or Higher Education. This course covers many aspects of fashion and textiles and is aimed at anyone who has a passion for creativity. It is suitable for anyone who has an interest in fashion and has a desire to work in this industry. It is a practical, work-related course and you learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.

The units are internally assessed by projects and the development of a portfolio.
Are there any special expenses?
Provisions of some materials and sketchbooks for your practical work may be required and there are several trips throughout the course.
