Bexhill College student is awarded competitive scholarship at the University of East London

Bexhill College Sport student, Jay Pepper, has received the Vice-Chancellor Scholarship at the University of East London (UEL). This prestigious and highly competitive scholarship will cover all of Jay’s tuition fees, for the three-year duration of his course. It is awarded to a maximum of 2 people each year and is based on academic and non-academic achievements as well as personal attributes which embody the University’s morals and ethics.

During the application process Jay mentioned past academic achievements from his primary school, secondary school and Bexhill College, as well as his passion for the subject. From a non-academic perspective, Jay also spoke about his volunteering experience and accomplishments which he has gained through Scouting.

Jay thanked his teachers, commenting “It truly has been an amazing couple of years at Bexhill College and I will never forget them.”

Bexhill College would like to congratulate Jay on this outstanding achievement and wish him every success at University.
