Here at Bexhill College we love to celebrate those who show more than just what they are capable of achieving within the classroom. First year Business student, Chloe Wilkinson, has been showing us her business talents since her Year 11 advisory interview when she mentioned that she had started her own online business. She impressed us then and continues to do so. Last week Chloe launched her new website for her online business, Tommi Co. Selling canine apparel, treats and grooming products. Chloe has demonstrated excellent entrepreneurial talents, as well as some exceptional IT skills with her slick, fresh new website design. Chloe's compassion is also to be celebrated as a small percentage of her profits are donated to three different charities that are close to her heart. Alongside this, her stance on being environmentally friendly is at the forefront of everything Tommi Co. does.
Chloe is a hardworking student both in and out of the classroom. We are happy to recognise her as someone who will take on the business world and win. We hope that she continues to develop on this pathway to becoming a highly accomplished business person.
As a result of Chloe's entrepreneurial flair, we have nominated her to represent the College at the Global Entrepreneurial Leaders' Summit. As a College we have received an exclusive invitation to this prestigious event, due to our students' successes in a range of enterprise activities in recent years. Past speakers at previous years' events have included: Jes Staley, CEO of Barclays, Elizabeth Nyamayaro, Executive Director for UN Women, Princess Zahra Aga Khan and Josh Bayliss, CEO of Virgin Group. This year's event will take place in September at Barclays Global Headquarters in Canary Wharf, where Chloe will have the opportunity to network with global leaders in their field.
