Last month, Computer Science students from Bexhill College took part in the prestigious BEBRAS Computing Challenge, which takes place in over 40 countries and is designed to get students around the world excited about computing.
The competition involves problem solving using computational thinking skills. Computational thinking uses a set of problem-solving skills and techniques that software engineers use to write programs and apps.
After achieving a score of over 130 in the last challenge, eight students from the College have qualified for the next stage, putting them in the top 10% of the country, which is an incredible achievement. The next stage of the competition for the top 10% of students will take place in March 2020 at Bexhill College.
