Bexhill’s Bright Young Things - A Virtual Exhibition from Creative Arts students

Bexhill College’s vocational Photography and Art & Design students have spent their time in lockdown creating their final photographs, to collectively form the ‘Bexhill’s Bright Young Things’ virtual exhibition gallery.

The renowned photographer Cecil Beaton and the National Portrait Gallery exhibition ‘Bright Young Things’ has inspired and influenced the students work. Bexhill’s version of this exhibit explores the extravagant world of the glamorous and stylish ‘Bright Young Things’, seen through the eyes of the students. Cues have been taken from the five categories set by the National Portrait Gallery, which are as follows; Costume and Masquerade, Fashion and Style, Props, Performance, and Self-portrait.

To view the student-led virtual exhibition, visit www.artsteps.com and search for ‘Bexhill’s Bright Young Things.’ For more information about the Creative Arts courses, or any other courses, at Bexhill College, please visit www.bexhillcollege.ac.uk
