Daniel Pryor, from the Adam Smith Institute, recently gave a talk to Second Year Economics students at Bexhill College. The Adam Smith Institute is a world leading neoliberal think tank, which is independent, non-profit and non-partisan. Daniel gave a talk to the students on the economics of immigration, where he talked about free trade, culture, fiscal impacts, specialisation and crime.
The talk gave the students an opportunity to view the current economic thinking regarding the impact of immigration, both in current policy as well as in the past. Students were enraptured by the benefits that immigration can bring to a countries GDP and will study the impact that Brexit will have on the freedom of movement to and from the UK.
