Every year, Bexhill College organises a Careers and Progression Day to present students the wealth of options available to them after completing sixth form education. The event took place this year on Friday 21st June, and provided all first year Level 3 students with a valuable opportunity to engage with a variety of organisations and employers. This helped them to explore and consider future choices after college, some of which they may not have known existed.
During the morning, students visited the Higher Education, Apprenticeship and Gap Year Fair, and attended a motivational presentation delivered by Joshua Ajitena (Irock Seminars).
In the afternoon, students attended four talks of their choice from a range of Career Talks and General Progression Talks, which raised awareness of options open to them after their studies at Bexhill College.
Student Services Officer Ann Bentley and Careers Officer Sue Rhodes said, "We are delighted with all of the excellent support received, with more than 63 local businesses and organisations attending on the day. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them all for coming along to talk to our students.”
