10 A Level Geology students went on a trip to Pembrokeshire last Monday for 5 days. With the help of Professional Geologist Sid Howells, the students were able to learn new fieldwork skills and had the opportunity to experience "real life” Geology, which they have been studying in theory lessons. The students were also able to successfully complete a number of exercises that they need to pass the practical endorsements for their A level.
Subject leader, Steph O'Grady, said; ‘We were extremely lucky with the glorious Welsh sunshine and no sign of the dramatic thunderstorms experienced in the South East! Huge thanks to the staff for their help throughout the week.'
