Recently, two alumni students from Bexhill College paid a visit to current students to provide them with an insight into a career in performing arts.
Last week, Bexhill College alumni student and professional actress, Rachelle Diedericks, gave a talk to Performing Arts students.
Rachelle shared informative tips on audition and monologue techniques, referring to her own experience of auditioning for West End shows that she has starred in. She also explained about the hard work involved in preparing for drama school and university. Additionally, she discussed her own audition process for the shows that she has booked and gave the students advice on how to juggle written work, performances and jobs.
This week, another alumni student who is now studying at a prestigious acting school, Luke Heys, delivered a stage combat training session to current Acting Certificate students. Luke taught the students how to perform stage combat in a realistic manner which would engage the audience. The students were introduced to everything from falling safely to performing a convincing stage fight.
