Bexhill College French and Spanish students entered the Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators Competition organised by The Queens College, Oxford. This year over 14,000 students from 260 schools took part in the competition where students translate creative texts into English. The top five entries from each school were judged which involved over 3,200 entries in total.
The judges were very impressed by the standard of these entries and they read some excellent translations, including from our students. Celia Reboux won a Commendation Award for the South East Area competition in Spanish which is a fantastic achievement given the number and standard of entries received.
