MJS Media tasked our A Level Business and Economics students to develop and present a fully scheduled and budgeted marketing campaign for one of their clients. Students worked tirelessly to research the market and the external influences as well as consider the internal strengths and weaknesses of the business before deciding on their campaign. Additionally, students creatively developed logos, and straplines and presented their campaigns to a panel of judges including Chloe Wilkinson, Digital Marketing Manager.
Chloe Wilkinson from MJS Media commented, “‘I was incredibly impressed by the Business and Economics students. Their presentations were informative, their industry knowledge was excellent, they answered questions with ease, and were extremely confident. All students had clearly put in a lot of effort and will be strong players in the marketing industry should they choose that path after college.”
Ben Whittingham, Head of Section for Politics, Economics, Business, and Law said “It’s important students begin to get an insight and gain experience of the kind of work they will be doing in the real world. Not only does this help them to develop the transferrable skills so important in the workplace such as teamwork, organisation, planning, and public speaking beyond the constraints of the A Level specification, it’s vital their eyes are opened to careers they may not have thought of. Thank you Chloe and MJS for providing this employer-led brief and making this experience possible”.
