Living La Vida Lockdown Photography Exhibition
26 May
Bexhill College's second year photography students have an online exhibition showcasing their final project; Living La Vida Lockdown brings together lens-based works from several emerging artists who navigate the different nuances of their relationship with the COVID-19 lockdowns.
The photographs explore ideas ranging from the freedom of lockdown to going solo. The works in this show attempts to provide new ways of understanding how the youth of today have felt throughout their encounters of lockdown.
Using their final major project as a way to take stock and make sense of the year past the young artist have explored the notion of ‘lockdown’ and how their perspective have shaped their last year. The outcome of this is a collection of work that focuses upon the everyday moments and personal narratives giving a voice to their experiences.
Well done to all the students that took part for their efforts.
