A Level Biology Students Participate In The British Biology Olympiad

On Wednesday the 8^th of March, 16 of our A Level Biology students participated in the British Biology Olympiad. They completed two 45-minute papers covering familiar and novel topics across the entirety of biology from ecology to biotechnology.

Over 13,000 students from more than 800 schools worldwide took part in this year’s British Biology Olympiad, with 5% of applicants receiving gold, 10% receiving silver, and 15% receiving bronze medals. 6 of our 16 participants received medals, with Harry Harding (pictured second from the left) receiving a silver medal, and others were awarded with high commendations and participation certificates.
