On Saturday the 29th of April, Bexhill College dance student Evie Dawes performed with a host of West End stars in 'West End Returns to Leatherhead' after being asked by choreographer, Keeleigh Schlippé-Steffenson, to perform with a small select group of dancers. The show served as a fundraiser for the premiere of a new musical by Natasha Mould to open at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, in the hopes of it moving to the West End. The evening of West End performances was accompanied by guest dancers performing Keeleigh’s choreography from ‘Fossé,’ ‘Come From Away’ and 6 dancers including Evie performed with the star herself Natasha Mould in her tap choreography to ‘Shrek’. The show concluded with a full company song of ‘From Now On’ from The Greatest Showman, led by the 10 West End stars that took the stage throughout the show. The group managed to raise £4500 towards the budget which has assisted the premiere of 2020 The Musical.
