Bexhill College Raise Money for BBC's Children In Need 2020

Despite a different year for many events, Bexhill College has provided yet another successful fundraising week for BBC's Children In Need 2020! Level 2 Childcare students have created motivational/wellbeing stones in class today. They decided to support Children in Need by creating the stones which will be hidden in the community for children to find when they go out to exercise during lockdown. The students wanted to help support children’s wellbeing as lockdown can be an uncertain and difficult time for them.

Course Tutor Penny Smith has said:

"If any children find our stones, we would love pictures to be posted on our social media pages and then re hide them for more children to find. We hope these stones will brighten up their day".

Elsewhere, fundraising in the form of games has been held in The Refectory this week. With games including guess the name of the teddy bear, how many sweets in the jar, spot the difference and many more, students were eager to get involved where they could.

As a result, the college has raised a total of £324.86 this week; a superb amount from so many genourous people donating!

Thank you to all who donated and played our games, we hope you had fun. Keep an eye out for an email as you might have won a prize!
