The multi-million pound development titled the Izzard Theatre features an industry-standard 200-seater theatre available for hire. The Theatre is equipped with adjustable seating in order to cater for audience numbers, projector facilities, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, and green rooms and there is also the potential for refreshments to be served on the upper level of The Izzard Theatre.

    Our Avid S3L digital mixing system, coupled with Martin Blackline series speakers, accompanied by 16 wireless headsets, will ensure your performance sounds perfect.

    For small performances, around 20 seats can be provided for an audience. Alternatively, the space can fit 80 seats for conference purposes.

    A rig of 12 generic fixtures will provide a standard white wash. Coloured lighting gels are available on request.

Izzard Theatre Main Auditorium

  • Lighting – standard fluorescent lighting (Standard House Lights), theatrical lighting including10x intelligent moving light fixtures comprising of 6 spot movers ( Robe Robin Pointes and Kanjo Spot 60) and 4 wash movers (Mac Aura and Eurolite TMH555) General LED wash, including 6 x ETC Source 4 Profiles and 14 x ETC D40 Wash lights, 4 x Phillips Selecon Fresnels all fixtures are LED. We also have an 5 Miltec CYC battens with pixel control.
  • Audio – Avid S3L digital Console, with Martin Blackline Series – Main Pa, Centre fills and SUB Up to 16 wireless radio microphones (at extra cost), Shure SM58 and SM57 dynamic microphones, and a selection of condenser microphones. Microphone stands. Qlab used for all playback.
