Year 10 Taster Days

Come and spend a fun and exciting day with us and see why Bexhill College is an education worth the journey. Bexhill College is an Ofsted Outstanding education provider and offers the widest choice of A Level courses and vocational subjects in Hastings, Eastbourne, and Rother.

This is your opportunity to experience some of the different courses you could choose to study at Bexhill College in September 2026. The day will also provide you with the opportunity to visit the campus and see the excellent facilities available to you for your post-16 study. Engaging and informative sessions delivered by subject specialists will introduce you to the different subjects available, helping you with your decisions about what to study after your GCSEs.

Taster Day Information 2026

These can be booked here on our website at a later date. Keep an eye out on here and on our social media pages for when this will be announced.

These events run from Wednesday 8th July 2026 until Monday the 13th of July 2026. You can find more information on available subjects in the Taster Day Prospectus.

You can find a list of subjects and the content in the Taster Day Prospectus below. You can also view this on the booking form when selecting a subject.

Please note: Changes to taster sessions after the 5th of June will not be possible. We will be unable to make changes to your selected subjects on the day of your Taster Day either.

You can change your selected taster sessions by submitting another booking until the 5th of June. We will accept your last booking as your confirmed entry. Spaces on taster sessions will not be guaranteed after the 5th of June.

Choosing the same taster sessions does not confirm that you will be in the same class as your friend. All sessions are timetabled on a first-come-first-served basis. We are not able to process special requests for pupils to be placed in specific sessions with other pupils.
You will need to liaise with your school. We can accommodate students on another taster day, but this will need to be approved by your school first with written confirmation that you can attend on a different day. Any of these requests should be booked by sending an email to marketing@bexhillcollege.ac.uk
The school will need to contact Bexhill College about this. If the school can provide a teaching assistant, the College can facilitate this. Any requests can be sent to marketing@bexhillcollege.ac.uk
It is difficult to accommodate late applications. If you apply after the deadline, the College will consider the reason for the late application and see if we can accommodate you. However, it may not be possible to offer you a place if the choices you want are already full.

The deadline for late applications is Monday the 22nd of June at 4:30 pm

If you are contacted by us to change your taster session, it is likely because it is full or not available with your mix of taster sessions due to timetabling conflicts. Please select a different taster session by replying to our email. A full list of taster sessions can be found on the Taster Day Prospectus

Facility Tours

Facility tours for Year 11 students who wish to enrol for September 2025 have now ended. To receive an advisory interview invitation, you must have submitted your application to Bexhill College.

Please check back for the latest updates on facility tours.

Facility tours for current Year 11 students who wish to enrol for September 2025 are now available. Please read all of the information below thoroughly and click the button below to book your space on a facility tour.

If you have missed our October Open Evenings, these guided group tours of our facilities will offer the chance to view every area of the College and ask questions to a member of our experienced marketing team. Please note that teaching staff may not be available to ask questions during timetabled lessons and that all questions subject and curriculum-specific should be addressed in an email to enquiries@bexhillcollege.ac.uk with a clear indication as to which subject the query is regarding.

Please note: The tour usually takes 75 minutes to complete, but can – on occasion – take longer. There will be access to lifts on the day, but there will be limited opportunities to rest along the way. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and being prepared for an active experience. It is advised that those who are unable to walk for long periods or long distances should consider their participation carefully.
