Bexhill College Netball Team Plays Worthing
Recently, our Bexhill College Netball Team played Worthing and lost 42-30. The Players of the Match were Lorelai Biffin and Thai Pryce Burnett.
Equestrian Enrichment Trip to Beauport Park Riding School
Our Equestrian Enrichment students enjoyed the opportunity to develop their riding skills at Beauport Park Riding School. The session included a group riding lesson, consisting of flatwork, polework and jumping activities led by a qualified instructor. The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for students to build confidence, develop practical equestrian skills and enjoy learning outside the classroom. Well done to everyone who took part!
Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Teams Play Regional Tournament
Both the men's and women's volleyball teams headed to our regional tournament on Thursday 15th October in Brighton. For our men's team, this was the second competition in two days. Both teams worked hard and showed great teamwork and skill to deliver high-quality volleyball. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day for everyone involved. Our men's team finished 7th, with our women's team finishing 4th overall.
Bexhill College Volleyball Team Play Colchester College
The men kicked off their volleyball season with an away trip to Colchester College. The team worked hard learning new positions and rotations to put on a great display of volleyball; however, we ultimately lost by three sets to one (18-25, 25-23, 22-25, 19-25). Despite the result, the team showed high levels of determination and a positive attitude throughout, doing the college and themselves proud. Guest Speaker – Dr Harry Markfort speaks to Biology students about a career in medicine
On the 8th October, Dr. Harry Markfort (a Bexhill College Alumni) visited the College to speak to Biology students. Dr. Markfort graduated from medical school in 2024, and completed his UK foundation training in the summer of 2026. He gave a talk on his experience as a training doctor and alternative career paths that could be available if a student chooses not to follow the traditional routes.

Second-Year Geology Students Visit The Natural History Museum
On Monday 28th September, our second-year geologists visited the Natural History Museum, where they saw a wide range of rock and mineral specimens. Of course, there was plenty of time to visit the dinosaur exhibits, too! An interesting, educational and fun day was had by all.
Students represent Bexhill College at Donnington Grove Golf club
A team of students travelled to Donnington Grove Golf club on Wednesday 23rd September to represent Bexhill College in the 1st tournament of the AOC intercollegiate golf tour 2026/27. The course was a tough challenge having recently hosted a qualifying tournament for the Euro Pro tour. Employer Encounter – Country Park Leads talk to Biology Students
A Level Biology students enjoyed a presentation by Jill Tyson, the Groundwork South Project Manager from Hastings Country Park, and Emma Ramsden, the Senior Conservation, Education and Community lead at Combe Valley Countryside Park.
