First-year Extending Diploma Business students brought Christmas cheer, and some healthy entrepreneurial competition, to The Ref this week as they hosted a lively fundraising event in support of Chestnut Tree House, a local children’s hospice. Level 1 Personal and Social Development students have been working hard to raise awareness for staff and students across the college,  to donate food items for Bexhill Food Bank. Yesterday, Bexhill College enjoyed celebrating and fundraising for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day! Last week, our first-year T Level (Business) Management and Administration students showcased their commitment to the community and philanthropy by organizing a highly successful quiz night and raffle, raising an impressive £1281.55 for the Chestnut Tree House charity. Bexhill College once again actively participated in fundraising for the Tin in a Tub campaign led by Cllr Lynn Langlands, dedicated to supporting the Bexhill & Battle Foodbanks. Health and Social Care students campaign to support Warming Up The Homeless

Over the last few weeks, our first year Health and Social Care students have been collecting unused and unwanted toiletries to support Warming Up The Homeless. These will be sold or used in Christmas hampers. The students then organised a tombola in the College Refectory, raising £135 which has been used to purchase Christmas treats which will be distributed to the homeless adults and children of Bexhill, Hastings, and Eastbourne!
