A Level PE students visit Chichester University’s sport science department

30 of our A Level PE students recently visited Chichester University for an immersive experience in sports science. The visit provided our students with hands-on experience in the following areas: Exercise Physiology: Students used cycle ergometers and Douglas bags to collect and analyse expelled gases, deepening their understanding of respiratory processes during exercise. On Tuesday 2nd July,  a number of our learners visited the brand new UCL East campus. Employer Encounter: Health and Social Care students visit Saxonwood Care Home

On Monday the 24th of June, the BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care group visited Saxonwood Care Home in Battle. This trip provided the students with insights into the residents' home and the staff's job roles. Afterwards, our students decorated cupcakes and made bracelets with some of the residents. We would like to thank Saxonwood for giving our students the opportunity to visit.

On Tuesday the 11th of June, students from Classical Civilisation, Modern, and Ancient History visited the London Mithraeum and Roman Amphitheatre beneath the Guildhall Art Gallery. The students participated in a fantastic workshop with professional archaeologist, Dr. Andrew Lane, where they handled Roman artefacts and explored the mysteries of London’s Roman Amphitheatre.
