This week, our Ancient History & Classical Civilisation students explored two incredible Roman sites – the London Mithraeum and the Roman Amphitheatre.
Students immersed themselves in the history of these fascinating ancient sites and took part in an archaeological workshop, where they handled real artefacts and discovered more about life in Roman Britain.
Physically engaging with historical sites is one of the most powerful ways to bring history to life, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have such a rich variety of monuments right on our doorstep.
We’re already looking forward to the programme of History trips planned for the next academic year!
