International student success in the Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators
A Level Modern Languages students recently entered the Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators, translating poems in French, Spanish, German, Italian and Mandarin into English. The competition, organised by Queen’s College, Oxford, received over 16,000 entries from schools across the country. Two of our students were awarded a special commendation for the best advanced-level translations in the South East: Chloe La Marca in French and Vittoria de Jesus in Italian.
