Work-Related Learning: Anthea Bell Prize For Young Translators Winners

A Level Modern Languages students recently entered the Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators, translating poems in French, Spanish, German, and Italian into English. The competition, organised by Queen’s College, Oxford, received over 15,000 entries from schools across the country. Chemistry Olympiad 2023 produces best results to date for Bexhill College students

This term, 17 of our A Level Chemistry students participated in the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Olympiad Competition. This very demanding competition is held annually and challenges students to apply their chemistry and maths skills to a wide range of novel situations. The College is very proud of all the students that danced in 'Dance Live' on Thursday. They have been working extremely hard on this project since September, and they all shined and were very professional. Well done to all for an outstanding performance. On Tuesday 14th March, two groups of eight from our A Level Law and Politics courses took part in the South East Heat of the European Youth Parliament Debate Competition, with one team winning a place at the National Competition! Bexhill College Men’s Basketball Team Defeat East Surrey College 106-24

Yesterday, Bexhill College Men's Basketball travelled to East Surrey College for an away fixture in the AoC Sport South East Men's Basketball League. The team took control of the game early on and never looked back, leading 25-4 after the first quarter, and 52-7 at the half.
