English Language students recently attended a fascinating talk from Alex Lazell, a Speech and Language Therapist. Students learned about the phonetic sound system, speech problems, and the role of speech and language therapy in helping especially young people develop their speech and language effectively. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about a practical application of the theory the students learn about in the A Level English Language course.
