Sport and Sports Coaching students visit the Brighton (AMEX) stadium

Our Level 2 Sport, and Level 3 Sports Coaching students took a visit to the Brighton (AMEX) stadium. This exciting trip included a 1-hour workshop on ‘meeting local skills needed in further education’. These workshops and talks included a high emphasis on the importance of transferable skills, and the importance of putting these into action, particularly in a workplace. Students also received the opportunity to explore the stadium on a personal tour.

First-year Level 3 Extended Diploma protective service group recently travelled to Longmoor Military Training Camp, where they took part in a day of activities that tested their teamwork, leadership, and physical fitness. The activities included providing medical support to injured casualties, paintballing, a fitness circuit, and exploring different types of explosives as well as the equipment used to detect these explosives. Year 1 A Level PE Students Visit Lord’s Cricket Ground

On Thursday 11th of May, Year 1 A Level PE students visited Lord’s Cricket Ground in London where they toured the museum, media centre, training centre, and real tennis court where they watched a live game of tennis. Students also had the opportunity to see a cricket match between Cambridge Women’s Team and Oxford Women’s Team. This helped develop the students’ knowledge and understanding of the ‘Sport and Society’ topic they are currently studying.

On Monday 30th January 2023, the Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Professional Cookery (Kitchen & Larder) students visited Gravetye Manor, a high-class hotel with an award-winning, Michelin-starred restaurant.
