40 of our first and second-year Psychology students visited the University of Brighton to explore the campus through a bespoke tour and were able to speak to student ambassadors about life at the University. Students had the opportunity to use some exciting industry-standard equipment in the University lab.
They even experienced a lecture on cognitive psychology and looked at evidence as to whether the mind and brain are separate entities. In the lab session, they played with a robotic cat and tried on eye tracker goggles and VR headsets that simulate being drunk and had to complete activities such as walking on a line with these on.
