Level 3 Hospitality and Travel and Tourism students visited The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne to look around some of their rooms, taking note of the facilities, design and methods used for cleaning and servicing accommodation operations. Our first and second year Travel and Tourism Extended Diploma students were joined by Jake from the University of Bath. Jake delivered two skills-based sessions that covered ‘Presentation Skills for Success at University and Beyond’. Last term, on Monday 28th November 2022, the first-year and second-year Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism students had the opportunity to visit the Mermaid Inn Rye and the Grand Hotel Eastbourne.
