Last term, on Monday 28th November 2022, the first-year and second-year Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism students had the opportunity to visit the Mermaid Inn Rye and the Grand Hotel Eastbourne. The students had a tour of each hotel and a presentation about a variety of career opportunities in the hotel industry. They also learnt about the variety of procedures and practices that must be in place when running a hotel. The students are using the information that they learned during the trip to help them complete their coursework.
