STEM girls enrichment aims to promote Engineering and Physics to young girls in society. As a start, last week the STEM girls organised Engineering and Physics activities and invited KS3 and KS4 girls from St. Richards to participate in the activities to motivate the students and make science come alive. Yesterday, our first-year Level 3 BTEC Engineering students continued to work hard on completing their Engineering Unit 3 assignment; making Toolmakers Clamps. The unit involves three parts; a production plan, a risk assessment, and a workshop-based process where students implement their production plan in groups.
