This course will provide you with the opportunity to learn what a career in management and administration is likely to involve. You will study a wide range of contexts, including private, public and not-for-profit organisations, in addition to national and global companies. You will also undertake a compulsory industry placement.

You will study a range of topics including:
Organisational objectives, strategies, culture and values
Maintaining and improving quality within organisations
Finance: double entry bookkeeping, budgeting, reporting of financial statements, and auditing
Change management
Project management
How will I be assessed?
The core knowledge and understanding of the course content is assessed through an examination and core skills through a practical employer-set project.
The employer-set project enables students to apply a variety of core skills vital for employability, including project management, problem solving skills, research skills, and communication skills.
Are there any special expenses?
As an integral part of this course, students will be required to attend work placement which will incur a cost for travel. There may also be trips that enrich the curriculum which may incur an additional expense.
