Employer Encounter: Walking Football Presentation To Sports Students

Yesterday, Mick Davies, the Chairman of Old Bexhillians Walking Football Club came into the College to speak to our sports students about Walking Football and other walking-type sports fitness activities. Mick spoke to our students about how Walking Football started, the importance of Walking Football in local communities, and the physical, mental, and social well-being benefits it presents to Walking Football players. In October 2022, Bexhill College sponsored local school student Eloise Jenkins and the All-England Taekwondo Association (AETA) to compete in the ITF Taekwondo World Cup that took place in Koper, Slovenia between October 2nd and October 9th. The sponsorship money was used to support Eloise and the AETA team regarding their training, kit, sparring gear, flights, accommodation, and more essentials needed for the Taekwondo World Cup.
