Employer Encounter: Personal Trainer Gabrielle Beckett pays a visit to our Personal Training Students

On Monday the 28th of October our personal training students were visited by Gabrielle Beckett. A personal trainer who put them through their paces and provided them with invalueable advice that will help them progress further with their studies going forward.   A huge thank you to Gabrielle Beckett for coming in and meeting our students. It was a great training session and our students benefitted from it by now having this experience to help coincide with their studies.

A Level PE students visit Chichester University’s sport science department

30 of our A Level PE students recently visited Chichester University for an immersive experience in sports science. The visit provided our students with hands-on experience in the following areas: Exercise Physiology: Students used cycle ergometers and Douglas bags to collect and analyse expelled gases, deepening their understanding of respiratory processes during exercise. Bexhill College Men’s 1st team in association with Chelsea Football Club Foundation were crowned Chelsea Foundation College Cup champions after defeating Carshalton 4-3 after extra time in a thrilling final at Cobham, the home of Chelsea’s training ground. Bexhill College student wins gold medal at first adaptive Kata European competition

Izzie Everest, one of our A Level students, and her Judo partner Braydon travelled to Sarajevo, Bosnia this week to represent GB at the first adaptive Kata European competition. They have made history by not only being the first adaptive pair, but they are the first Kata pair to medal for GB in a competition of this level at Kata, bringing home Gold and putting GB 6th on the medal table out of 20.
