Earlier this morning, the College hosted a Careers Fair in the Izzard Theatre. 30 employers, universities, and apprenticeship providers visited the College, offering students support, information, advice, and guidance related to their next steps and progression from College. The fair was attended by approximately 700 students and was shortly followed by a series of talks delivered by employers and Bexhill College staff members.
Employers from the Army, Child Protection and Social Services, Business Development, Construction Engagement, Law, IT and Computing, Adult Social Care, Media and Film visited classrooms across the College and spoke with students about progression and careers within their industry. Talks were also given by the College’s Director of Finance, Analyst Programmer, Marketing Manager, and Theatre and Lettings Manager, who shared their own expertise and experiences of industry. Over 200 students benefitted from these talks.
This was an outstanding opportunity for the students to further enhance their knowledge of industry, higher education, apprenticeships and the post-college options that are available to them.
