On Tuesday 20th February, Bexhill College held its third sector-specific Progression Fair. This event was for our English, Humanities, Languages, Art, Media, Music, and Performance students across all year groups.
These closer-knit events are more intimate and allow both students and employers the ability to discuss career planning due to the close links between studies and progression. As well as providing students with the opportunity to engage in career research, students are also able to develop their communication and networking skills.
We were joined by local and national employers, including the De La Warr Pavilion, the British Army (Officers), and the Wealden District Council. We were also joined by a number of universities based on previous student destination data and alumni information, including the University of the Arts London, WaterBear, the Courtauld Institute, the University of Hertfordshire, the University for the Creative Arts, the University of Brighton, the University of Sussex, Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM), the University of Essex, and the University of Chichester.
We would like to thank all the stallholders for their input and look forward to our next event for our Politics, Economics, Business and Law students in March.
