The first year Extended Diploma in Business students had Melvyn from Bucklers Group introduce their first employer-set task. He asked the students to investigate businesses that have been enterprising and innovative and to identify what they have done to achieve success. Melvyn was keen to impress upon the students the importance of time management, team working, communication and presentation, and the students needed to demonstrate all of these in the completion of this task.

The students will need these skills throughout the course and especially in their Industry Placements, so it was fantastic to get this insight from Melvyn about his own journey in business.
