From the 9th to the 13th March, it was Green Week where we celebrated the environment and learnt how to be more sustainable. We had Dipak Sarkar from the University of Brighton in to deliver a talk on Moving from Wasteful to Sustainable Practices: Impacts on the Environment, Climate and Our Health.
We also had Neil Crooks from the University of Brighton in to deliver a talk on microplastics and provided some context for them as a pollutant. The talk also discussed some human impacts and some aquatic species work.
We thank both of Neil and Dipak for taking the time out of their schedule to speak with our science students about this important topic.
