On Tuesday 21st November, Bexhill College held its second Sector-specific Progression Fair. This event was for our Maths, Computing and Sciences students across all year groups.
These smaller events are more intimate and allow both students and employers the ability to discuss career planning due to the close links between studies and progression. As well as providing students with the opportunity to engage in career planning and research, students are also able to develop their communication and networking skills.
We were joined by local and national employers, including Torr Scientific, Technoturn, NHS Academy, British Army – STEM, and Howard Bros Joinery; we also had a small number of universities based on previous student destination data and alumni information, including Brighton and Sussex Medical School, Royal Veterinary College, University of Brighton, Plumpton, University of Sussex and University of Reading.
We would like to thank all the stallholders for their input and look forward to our next events for Arts, English, Humanities and Languages in the New Year!
